I LOVE every wedding my husband and I have the privilege of photographing, but this wedding was a little more special because it was my Brother-in-Law’s!!! Which I still can’t believe! Adrian & Jenn got married in Chicago, where they both met and attend school. The venues that they chose were absolutely stunning!! I am so excited about these photos because my heart is close to the people in them, they are beautiful, & they had the most gorgeous locations!
Adrian & Jenn had their ceremony at Old Central Church in Joliet, IL. Everything about this church was beautiful…it had huge stain glass windows and a gorgeous exterior. My only complaint was that we did not have more time at this location, but that led us to Dellwood Park where we were able to take advantage of the glow sun coming through the trees, another gorgeous location! From the park we went to their reception, which took place at Joliet Area Historical Museum. In my opinion the best part about the museum was the open roof top where desert and dancing took place. It was SO unique and I loved it!
Jenn & Adrian both have personalities that are easy to love and they complement each other so well. When I first arrived at the location where the girls were getting ready I saw Jenn and she looked stunning!! Turns out she did her own hair and makeup…what!? I couldn’t believe it she looked beautiful. I couldn’t wait for Adrian to see her which was another whole level of beauty! Jenn walking down the aisle and capturing Adrian’s expression when he saw her was priceless…it is amazing how a look can reveal so much. He loves her and she adores him and to witness such love is a gift.
It is hard to choose a favorite part about this day…as a wedding photographer I see a lot of different styles, traditions, and personalities. But what stood out most was their ceremony. It reflected their heart for each other, but mostly God. It was one of the most God honoring ceremonies I have ever witnessed and I felt privileged to be apart of it in many aspects. I am so excited for you both and can’t wait to see where life takes you!!
Congrats Mr. & Mrs. Reist!!
