Jared & Melinda are celebrating their 6 year anniversary! This was extra fun for me since I have known these two since middle school! In their 6 years of marriage they have always talked to me on and off about pictures. But nothing ever came of it. So this year I decided after 10 years of being together, 6 years of marriage & 2 kids this was the year they were going to get professional pictures done and we were going to go all out! Melinda got a gorgeous dress from Lulus and the very talented Kelly with Moss Garden Design decked out our tepee location at Laughing Brook with her GORGEOUS floral arrangements! Thanks to Kelly I am OFFICIALLY in love with incorporating florals into any shoot & highly recommend this! I also love a flowy dress, it gives such a romantic feel and Melinda picked the perfect one for their anniversary session! Everything was picture perfect!

When I look through these images and see their expressions I see romance, playfulness, drama, laughter, seriousness, & a whole lot of love. Marriage is all of these things and being able to capture these emotions and moments is why I do what I do. So you can remember and celebrate those 6 years of marriage. Remember the laughter in hard seasons and the love that is so evident in these pictures. Jared & Melinda have a beautiful love story & documenting just a small part of that is priceless. The thought that one day these moments will seem like a lifetime ago reminds me how fast the years go by. Document them + Cherish them + Remember them.
