A Dreamy Newport Engagement at Ochre Court | Newport Wedding Photographer
Last November Dan reached out to me about photographing his surprise proposal to Sydney at Gurneys in Newport. Sydney had no idea and was completely surprised when he got down on one knee. Dan had her family and his family all come out for the occasion to celebrate and pop some champagne after he popped the question. Andrew and I loved photographing the surprise and witnessing all the love and excitement between them and their families. Fast forward to June and we were so excited to meet up with them again for their summer engagement at Ochre Court!
Sydney & Dan are such a joy to be around. Sydney’s bubbly personality is contagious and the way Dan looks at her and laughs with her is the sweetest. They are both so kind and loving and they truly embraced all our fun pose ideas and had so much excitement about their engagement. They are so easy and effortless to work with, even if Dan was just doing it for the drinks after 😉 (haha jk Dan!). We started off by the water and ended with the sunset at Ochre Court. The outdoor and indoor architectural detail of the court is incredible, if you have never been I highly recommend checking it out! We were able to do some photos inside the building as well and all I can say is wow…I was completely overwhelmed when we walked inside with all the creative ideas running through my head. Each room had so much beautiful detail, it was a fun addition to their session! I have so many favorites from their engagement that I am so excited to share with you guys!
