Colleen & Jonathan’s wedding inspiration came from their love of the water, blue hydrangeas and a timeless aesthetic. Colleen & Jonathan met their first week of dental school and their relationship quickly took off. They quickly began dreaming about owning their own practice one day. After finishing residency, Jonathan proposed to Colleen at her favorite spot in the public gardens. Since then, they bought and renovated their lake house, became practice owners, and now had their dream wedding. When planning their wedding OceanCliff provided the ocean views that they love along with that classic coastal vibe. They were so excited to tie the knot! Colleen was beaming with a contagious joy and Jonathan was so thoughtful and intentional. It was such an honor to be a part of the wedding weekend and capture all the excitement and love between them and their close friends and family that celebrated with them.

Colleen wore an elegant fitted satin dress designed by Lela Rose. It fit her perfectly and was exactly what she envisioned for her wedding. She paired it with a cathedral veil that made for the most dreamy photos! Some of my absolute favorites from the day are of the veil flowing in the wind. Stephanie Ward did a beautiful job with all the girls makeup and True Style Hair completed the timeless look Colleen was going for with the perfect pulled back classic style.

Colleen & Jonathan had their ceremony at Jesus Savior Church in Newport, Rhode Island followed by their cocktail hour and reception at OceanCliff. Their cocktail hour was filled with delicious hors d’oeuvres, relaxing music from Molly McCaffrey on the harp, and the most beautiful ocean views. Michelle Jeanne Floral Design had a variety of white florals throughout the space that was so breathtaking and timeless, exactly what Colleen wanted! It was the perfect transition to their reception. They finished the evening with meaningful speeches, incredible live music by Wilson Stevens band, a Ben & Jerry’s ice cream bar, lots of dancing, a champagne tower, and an amazing live painting by Beth Bee Art. It was the perfect ending to their perfect day. We are so happy for you Colleen & Jonathan! Congratulations and we wish you the best of luck on this exciting new season!
