Katherine & Michael have always loved Castle Hill Inn, it has the perfect nautical romantic vibe that they envisioned for their wedding day. We had a beautiful spring day, the weather had a constant rotation of sunshine, fog & clouds throughout the day. It was typical Newport giving us a variety of gorgeous backdrops and it ended with one of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen.

Katherine & Michael met at Bentley University and it was love at first sight! They got engaged in Hawaii last July overlooking the entire ocean at sunrise and it was a complete surprise! It only made sense to have their dream wedding also overlooking the beautiful ocean at one of their favorite destinations. Katherine’s vision for her florals was an all white theme with greenery to extenuate the features of Castle Hill Inn without taking anything away from its natural beauty. Floristika Studio did a beautiful job with all the florals bringing Katherine’s garden vision to life. Her 8 best friends were in french blue dresses being her something blue. It was the perfect neutral color combo with a stunning ocean backdrop.

My favorite part of the day was their portraits overlooking the iconic Castle Hill Inn Lighthouse and ocean views. Such dreamy photos! The love and joy Katherine & Michael shared for each other was so fun to capture throughout their photos. Often times you can tell a lot about people by the company they surround themselves with. Just from spending one day with Katherine & Michael and their family and friends you could tell they are special people. The whole day was filled with lots of love, laughter, and happy tears. The amazing community they have around them spoke to the kind of people they are. It was the most beautiful day and we loved being a part of it!
