Dusty blues & coastal views for this stunning Beauport Hotel Wedding | Gloucester Wedding Photographer
Jennifer & Zach had a gorgeous Beauport Hotel Wedding on May 13, 2023. It was the perfect 70 degree day full of sunshine and a light ocean breeze. Jennifer & Zach met back in 2018 and they immediately bonded over their mutual dislike for going out versus staying in. Their friendship quickly budded and their dating relationship started soon after. Since then they have expanded their family to include their two pups, Malcolm and Cody, who of course were incorporated throughout the day through custom drinks & their stationary.
Jennifer & Zach chose a classic and elegant design of creams, dusty blues, and greenery. It was the perfect combination that added to the already gorgeous background that the Beauport has to offer without taking away from its natural beauty. Karla Cassidy Designs executed their floral vision flawlessly from the bouquets to the ceremony & reception spaces.
They could not have asked for a better day. It felt like a late June day in mid May. Jennifer & Zach chose to do a first look which was adorable. The way Zach looked at her and the way she beamed when seeing him was so much fun to capture. They were able to get all their photos done before the ceremony so they could fully enjoy their cocktail hour with their guests, which I 100% recommend if you have the opportunity to do this! It also gave us the opportunity to sneak back outside after dinner for some dreamy golden hour photos which were some of my absolute favorites from the day!
So much thought was put into every detail. Wouldn’t It Be Lovely designed an absolutely gorgeous invitation suite that was so customized to their wedding weekend and did not miss a single detail! I couldn’t get over their suite, it was truly a work of art. Jenn & Zach also chose to offer ice cream with unique thought through flavors for their guests to enjoy. Jenn is not much of a cake person so they wanted to incorporate a dessert they both loved! I can personally attest to how delicious the flavors were that Churn & Co Creamery offered. I have always been an ice cream lover & they were making me wish I had done this at my own wedding! One final detail that can’t go without being mentioned is their wedding favors. Jenn is a music lover and they both put so much thought into their playlists for the wedding so they decided to provide a mercy table for their guests. They had 90’s grunge theme shirts designed with a variety of sizes and their favorite albums to help decorate the table. It was such a thoughtful, creative and fun surprise for all their guests & the perfect way to end the night!
And I have to give a special shout out to Shannon and all of the Beauport staff. They did a fantastic job of taking care of all the details and making sure all the guests and vendors were taken care of. We always have the best experience at this venue and cannot recommend it enough!
Congrats Jennifer & Zach! We are so happy for you both and are so honored you chose us to capture your special day!
