A Romantic Newport Engagement Full of Laughter, Dancing, & Kissing in the Rain | Newport Rhode Island Wedding Photographer
Emma & Ryan met 7 years ago at Salve Regina University in Rhode Island and got engaged this past May on Ocean Drive. Needless to say, Newport is a very special place to them so we decided to start off their session on Ocean Drive. About 5 minutes into our session we got hit with some unexpected rain. Although it was not what we anticipated Emma & Ryan embraced it and we made the most of it! We made our way over to the iconic lighthouse at Castle Hill Inn. By this point the rain was full on and clearly not going to lighten up so they laughed, danced, and kissed in the rain and I have to say these images and the emotion in them are some of my all time favorites! Things did not go the way we planned, but Emma & Ryan fully embraced it and their perspective and attitude was everything! They completely rocked this session in the rain with full on dreamy Notebook vibes! When you embrace it, beauty truly unfolds. So excited to share some of my favorites with you guys below 🙂
