A Romantic Seaside Engagement at Castle Hill Inn | Rhode Island Wedding Photographer

We had the perfect September day for Anna & Matt’s Newport engagement at Castle Hill Inn, the weather was in the 70’s with a perfect coastal breeze and golden sunset. It was the perfect weekend for their engagement photos and it was exactly one year prior that Matt proposed at the Cliff Walk so they were able to make a fun anniversary weekend out of it! 

We started their session off at Ochre Court, right off the famous Newport Cliff Walk, highlighting the beautiful grounds and architecture. I can never get enough of this gorgeous location! Matt & Anna are complete naturals and nailed all the fun poses we threw at them. Also please take a moment to admire their outfits – if you are looking for outfit inspiration for your photos look no further, absolute perfection! After we wrapped up at Ochre Court we headed over to Castle Hill Inn and took some beautiful sunset photos at the iconic lighthouse of the cliffs – some of my absolute favorites from the day! Golden hour could not have been more perfect! And we had to get their toes in the sand down by the beach to wrap up with some fun playful shots! 

Andrew and I had so much fun getting to know Anna & Matt and celebrating their engagement at some of our favorite Newport locations! We are so excited to share some of our favorites from their engagement & can’t wait for their Wedding next August at Ocean Cliff!
