Backing up to December of 2019 Tessa & Eli met at Lolita in Boston. The day after their first date Tessa texted her friends telling them “I just met my future husband”. It truly was love at first sight for these two! After two years of dating Eli proposed on September 3 at Bedell winery on the North Fork of Long Island. *(Fun fact – All of the wine from their wedding has been sourced from Bedell). And on September 10, 2022 they got married!

They hired Events by Kawinthi and she did a beautiful job executing the clean, classic, and modern design that they envisioned for their day. They wanted the theme of their day to be “wedding” so this consisted of lots of whites with a simple design to keep the focus on the beautiful mountains of Vermont that surrounded them. Their florist, Cloca Mora Floral, grew, harvested, and arranged all of their beautiful wedding flowers. She has a local farm in Vermont where she grows all of her flowers. I loved the various ways they included local Vermont into their design. They also gave welcome gifts with local Vermont maple syrup! Tessa wore a simple and classic dress by Alexandra Grecco. It fit her perfectly and went so well with her timeless theme. And Amanda Hopcraft was responsible for the beautiful hair and makeup.

Tessa & Eli had the sweetest first look and we had so much fun taking their portraits while they were beaming with excitement for this day. We of course had to get some fun shots in with their pup Whisky! He was a big part of the day. Their ceremony had the most jaw dropping overlook of the breathtaking Vermont Mountains. Eli’s mom grew the flower center pieces. They wanted to keep the ceremony design simple as to not take away from all the natural beauty surrounding them. After their ceremony they enjoyed drinks from the Olive Twist Bar & delicious h’dourves by Capers Catering. Their reception was filled with beautiful speeches, deep belly laughs, sweet & meaningful first dances, delicious food, and fun party dancing with all their guests. A House on Fire brought the party to life with their amazing music. We finished the night with a few portraits under the beautiful moonlit sky.
