A Timeless, Ralph Lauren-Inspired Wedding at The Mount in the Berkshires | Massachusetts Wedding Photographer
Gracie and Cash’s wedding day at The Mount in the Berkshires was the perfect culmination of a love story marked by adventure, intention, and timeless style. These two first crossed paths in Upstate New York five years ago, and from that moment, life together has been a beautiful spiral of exploring the world hand-in-hand. Cash’s heartfelt proposal overlooking his hometown from a scenic Southern California viewpoint set the tone for their next big adventure: life abroad. For three years, Gracie and Cash made Europe their home base, traveling through Croatia, Mallorca, Sardinia, Prague, Vienna, and beyond—collecting memories and stories they knew they’d someday share with family and friends back home.
Choosing to wait for the perfect time and place to say “I do” was more than worth it. The Mount, with its stately green shutters, historic charm, and breathtaking gardens, felt like a scene straight from Gracie’s vision board—an effortless blend of Ralph Lauren sophistication and Nancy Meyers charm.
The design for their day was a love letter to New England style: layered neutrals, soft linens, classic calligraphy, and thoughtful textures that invited guests to feel both elegance and warmth. Gracie’s obsession with timeless details shone through every choice, from the navy invitation envelopes sealed with vintage horse stamps to their beautiful vintage-inspired matchbooks, custom-made to be tiny keepsakes for guests.
Thistle & Thorn Floral brought Gracie’s floral dreams to life with garden-inspired arrangements grounded in fluffy white hydrangeas and playful touches of amaranthus. The low, textured centerpieces created an intimate atmosphere, allowing guests to connect effortlessly across the long reception tables.
Gracie looked every bit the classic bride in her Vera Wang ceremony gown—a stunning lace drop-waist bodice and full tulle skirt that exuded grace and romance. For the reception, she changed into a sleek silk dress with a chic cowl neck and deep back drape, a nod to Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy’s iconic bridal style.
Their wedding cake, lovingly made by a family friend, was a sweet tribute to vintage wedding cakes—simple tiers with delicate piping, embodying the same timeless charm that threaded through every detail of their day.
Surrounded by loved ones, Gracie & Cash celebrated their return home with an unforgettable garden party that was, in every way, worth the wait. A day that felt as classic as it did deeply personal—truly a dream brought to life at The Mount. Congratulations Gracie & Cash! We were so honored to photograph your perfect day!
